Bernese mountain dog is a large dog of strong, beautifully harmonised figure. Berner is intelligent, strong and lithe dog, he is carrying large abilities for work with owner, because he is using his intelligence very successfully over basic training and his agilitnes in dog sports, as agility and similar. He is also very good in traction, for what he was used in native Switzerland in the past for carting milk and dairy products with especially adapted carts.
